The conference was hosted by the Institute of Global Conflict and Cooperation at the University of California, San Diego.

Apr 13, 2011 NPEC Signs Letter Urging Congress Not to Authorize Additional Nuclear Loan Guarantees
NPEC signed a letter urging members of Congress not to provide any additional loan guarantee authority to the DOE loan guarantee program. The letter argues that given the DOE's pre-existing $50 billion in loan guarantee authority and the high risk to taxpayers, increasing this figure would be fiscally irresponsible.
