HCFA tightens nonproliferation conditions on US nuclear exports
Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen introduced further restricts in HR 1280 on April 13, 2011 to amend the Atomic Energy Act of 1954 requiring congressional approval of all peaceful nuclear cooperation agreements with foreign countries. The House Committee on Foreign Affairs voted unanimously to approve this amendment resolution.
