Last month, NPEC’s Nuclear Policy Certificate Program students made their grades. Fifty-eight students successfully completed NPEC’s course on the fundamentals of civil and military nuclear policy and earned certificates of completion. This was NPEC’s largest nuclear policy program cohort in 13 years, with more than double the number of graduates compared to 2024.
This year’s cohort included students serving in the Hill, Pentagon, U.S. military, State Department, Department of Energy, Intelligence Community, national weapons laboratories, and press. In addition, this group included our first set of undergraduate and graduate students. Each student attended up to 25 lectures, including 10 guest presentations.
The NPEC Nuclear Policy Certificate Program gives students the technical, legal, policy, and historical fundamentals needed to gain a deeper understanding of civil and military nuclear policy. The program aims to cultivate a bipartisan community of practical experts focused on nuclear policy issues.
